
About the Role
We are looking to appoint an Undergraduate Programme Manager to join our busy Education/Teaching Services Team in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) to manage the administrative service for undergraduate programmes and to support the Director of Undergraduate studies.
About you
You must have a relevant degree, be part/fully professionally qualified with significant practical experience in a similar or related role, or have substantial relevant experience demonstrating development through progressively demanding roles. Experience of student recruitment and selection is essential, whereas experience of working with and advising senior academic and administrative staff would be an advantage. This post requires excellent organisational and communication skills, and significant experience at a level which requires minimum supervision whilst also being able to work in a team. It is also important that you can manage a varied and demanding workload under pressure.
About the School of EECS
EECS is an exciting and dynamic environment and is home to over 1600 undergraduate students, 800 postgraduate students and 200 PhD students in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science subjects. Our academic staff total nearly 150 and this role will join our existing team of more than 40 administrative and technical support staff. The post is based at our Mile End Campus in London and is a full-time, permanent appointment available for an immediately start. Starting salary will be in the range of £42,405-£49,785 per annum (Grade 5), inclusive of London Allowance.
