
We are recruiting to the role of Tutor (Academic Success) to join our new group organisation, Roehampton Education Services Ltd to support pre-degree, technical and vocational student outcomes on behalf of the University of Roehampton. This is an exciting time to join Roehampton Education Services Ltd, as we develop and grow vocational education.
The Role
This role is ideal for someone who is a passionate lifelong learning advocate, working well with students from all backgrounds to complete their further/ higher educational goals. You will have experience of delivering quality learning and teaching support and strong student outcomes in a further and/or higher vocational educational setting.
Key responsibilities will include securing exceptional student success, with imaginative, real-time problem solving to student challenges. Your tutorial and coaching approach will enhance, monitor and support high quality and support teams on Foundation, Higher Technical Education and/or CPD/ Short Courses.
You
You will have experience of both teaching and supporting students from a variety of backgrounds to academic success in Further and/or Higher Education. You will work collaboratively with contributing teaching teams, Curriculum Managers and the Head of Continuing Education to build rapport with students and holistically secure student continuation, completion and academic/ career progression rates for the School.
You will have a proven track record in academic support and coaching, and experience of both guiding and developing students, teaching teams and support staff to further enhance 1-2-1 and group support systems towards the needs of diverse student groups. You will be coaching-led with a student-focused, data confident and trend-based approach, recognising factors at risk of impacting course completion.
