The Ecole normale supérieure (ENS) opens up one postdoctoral position for a theoretician physicist.
ENS Physics Department is recruiting a Junior Research Chair holder (JRC), for its International Centre for Fundamental Physics and its Interfaces (LabEx ENS-ICFP), Paris (France).
The LabEx ENS-ICFP offers an outstanding scientific environment, stimulating for candidates with international experience.
The independent research activities shall be theoretical, in the following themes:
- Astrophysics,
- Biophysics: from cell to organism,
- Fundamental interactions,
- Quantum physics: from atoms to condensed matter,
- Soft matter, fluids and interfaces,
- Statistical and theoretical physics.
The chair includes teaching activities within its international Master ENS-ICFP.
The JRC is a two-year contract, with an internationally competitive salary and an attractive travel allowance. We also offer housing facilities in the very heart of Paris. The position is at ENS Physics Department
