About the role
Staffordshire University’s Media & Communications Hub, within Technical Services, wishes to appoint an innovative, enterprising, ambitious, and inspirational Technical Co-ordinator to lead service delivery across our dedicated London-based technical facilities and associated staffing portfolio.
This role will involve working closely with our students, and academic colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery within a busy, digital and technology-centric environment.
You will lead the immediate team responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of our diverse portfolio of specialist technical and digital resources and facilities, including our dedicated cybersecurity, games, and esports areas.
In partnership with a range of specialist staff, you will be required to develop and timetable agile technical teaching programmes across a range of digitally driven disciplines. In doing so, you will be able to exhibit a passion for improving the student experience complemented by practical aptitude and an acute attention to detail.
Additionally, and supported by a range of flexible tools and resources, you will coordinate the effective management of our significant digital estate, which transcends operating systems and traditional subject-specific boundaries.
