The Opportunity

University of the Arts London is looking for a skilled Student Recruitment Content Coordinator to join our Student Marketing and Recruitment department. This is a forward-thinking department, which delivers insightful market intelligence, marketing campaigns, prospective student communications and guidance. 

You will work with our content team to help produce and source effective multi-channel student marketing, recruitment and admissions content. You will manage content projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all content meets UAL content guidelines. Additionally, you will research, collate, commission, write, edit and proofread copy and source images for our website, print publications and other student marketing and recruitment content as required.

You will also play a key role in course page governance, collaborating with College Web Managers, Admissions, the Digital team and the Quality team to optimise course pages for student experience.

About You

You will exhibit a strong academic background with a degree level qualification in either marketing, communications, journalism or a relevant field. You will pair this with excellent copywriting skills, including the ability to explain complex information to a range of audiences in a clear and concise way. You will demonstrate a working knowledge of CMA and QAA guidelines, as well as a knowledge of best practice in User Experience and Content Design. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro) is desirable.

You will demonstrate experience of working in a content or editorial position that requires knowledge of both traditional and digital content principles and techniques. You will also provide additional experience of developing and delivering multi-channel creative content, including asset gathering, design, film, photography and copywriting. Further experience of working in the higher education sector and of managing creative marketing and communication projects is essential.
