Background

This role is based the Student & Academic Services Directorate. S&AS provides professional leadership for activities that support the student journey. The responsibilities of the Student Records Team include registration, graduation, changes to students’ records, Student Loans Company (SLC) reporting and external Reference Requests. This position is a temporary role for up to 12 months, with particular focus on the Student Loans Company (SLC) reporting.

Responsibilities

The post-holder will support a diverse range of responsibilities covering many aspects of student records management and the student journey, but with a specific focus on supporting the reporting to the Student Loans Company (SLC). This will require liaison with staff across schools and other professional services and some external stakeholders, as well as being a key contact for students and applicants.

Person Specification

You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work whilst also being an excellent communicator. You will be confident in dealing with large volumes of data and will have a customer focused approach to their work, ensuring our students and graduates receive informative, timely and accurate information. You will be adept at working to tight deadlines and will need to juggle a diverse workload. You will take personal responsibility and use initiative to manage your workload.
