As one of the academic Colleges within the University, the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (“CHMLS”) aims to deliver excellent research and educational programmes at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels in fields such as Biosciences, Sports, Health and Exercise Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Brunel Medical School looking to appoint an innovative and driven Student Programmes Manager to offer operational leadership to the Student Programmes team. As a new Medical School, you will be joining us at an exciting time, as we welcome our 2nd cohort alongside the Physician Associate programme. This post will help us to embed and operationalise administrative services designed to improve the student experience and confidently lead a team of administrators in providing effective services to support our students.

You will offer a high level of digital competence and will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team. Managing a broad range of student-facing services across the entire spectrum of the student life-cycle, you will develop relationships across the College to enhance policy and process whilst always considering the potential impact of your team’s activity on students and other stakeholders.

You will have:

  • A demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality administrative leadership, obtained from any industry or sector
  • The ability to coordinate several high-priority areas of work simultaneously
  • Excellent organisation and time keeping under minimum supervision
  • A commitment to continued professional development, and be an advocate for demonstrable professional values and behaviours
