
The Opportunity
CSM is a pioneering world leader in art and design education. With digital making technology constantly evolving at a rapid speed, we work at the cutting edge of new thinking and developments to prepare our students for successful careers in the creative industries of the future. The digital technical resource provides technical support to students from a range of subject areas that include, Graphic and Communication Design, Fashion, Fine Art, Architecture, Product Design, Curating and Criticism.
You will not only bring key skills in Digital Design, Illustration and Photo Editing with you, but you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops. This post is largely a flexible role and you will work to a structured roster over the course of the year.

About You
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated person who can also contribute to the technological development of the technical resource. You should have a qualification within the relevant area (i.e. Art, Design, Engineering) or have significant experience in an area related to digital making.
The successful applicant will have –
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software:
- Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (essential)
- Premiere, After Effects and Lightroom (highly desirable)
- Blender/Cinema 4D (desirable)
Specialist knowledge and experience of:
- Fashion, print or textiles processes (essential)
- Desktop publishing (highly desirable)
- Moving image and animation workflows (desirable)
