Service Centre Operator Location– Service Centre, Prestatyn-North Wales Salary- ₤ 20,862.40

Hours- Monday-Friday 8am-5.30 pm

About the function

We are trying to find a brand-new employee to join the Health Screening Services Team working within the Contact Centre in the HCA Primary Care department. The function will include dealing with both incoming and outbound calls, responding to queries through e-mail and collection of Patient details reports.

Principal duties

  • Reserving Appointments
  • To supply quick action when responding to calls
  • To manage booking demands professionally and precisely
  • Ensure customer contract service levels are fulfilled when scheduling visits
  • Usage of supporting procedural documents for scheduling guidelines and assistance
  • To assist where necessary in rescheduling of appointments (e.g. GP absences, cancellations)
  • To process incoming demand e-mails
  • To keep abreast of all brand-new services and changes to existing services

Client Information Reports

  • To develop Patient Information Reports properly and efficiently
  • To liaise with other RLM teams to help guarantee Patient Information Reports are produced within the basic turn-around time

Knowledge and Understanding

  • Qualified to A Level requirement (chosen)
  • Good English language abilities (grammar and spoken)
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in customer service

Problem fixing ability

  • Handling queries in a timely efficient way
  • Capability to determine escalation procedure

Sphere of influence

  • Intermediary with personnel and public
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy
  • To be efficient and expert in representing the company
  • Working as a cohesive member of the group

  • Proven exceptional Customer Service experience

  • Excellent previous office experience
  • Positive in all aspects of Microsoft Office; including Outlook and Excel
  • Able to interact confidently through the telephone and via email
  • Works well in a supportive team environment
