About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Print Technician to work at our Print Services Division. You will supervise the delivery of a high quality, cost effective in-house print/copy service to support students and staff of Queen Mary University of London and Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

About You

The Successful applicant will be required to:

  • run the Print Services on a day-by-day basis
  • ensure all job packets are actioned and completed within customer requirements
  • inspect allocated MFD devices daily and maintain a log of inspection
  • Ensure consumables for Print Services’ Canon high volume printers are maintained by regular inspection (paper stock, toner replacement) or provided on demand
  • manage the print supplier relationship and Service Level Agreements
  • assist with the logistics and new installations of print devices across all QMUL sites
  • support and promote the Print Services (in-house print service)

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), 6-month Fixed Term appointment with an expected start date of 1st October 2023. The starting salary range will be Grade 3, £31,421 – £38,165 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
