The Public Health team at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, London invites applications for a part-time position (0.3FTE equivalent) of a Senior Lecturer in Public Health with an expertise in Health Economics. You will be joining our growing team of dynamic and visionary academics, delivering the MSc Public Health (Distance Learning) programme, and supporting students using contemporary approaches to teaching and learning. Able to draw upon academic and research experience you will be able to apply this to enrich your teaching and knowledge transfer.

Job Purpose: 

Applicants should possess the broad range of skills needed to teach effectively and creatively and should be able to successfully lead the curriculum development, module management, teaching and assessment of the Health Economics module for the MSc Public Health (Distance Learning) programme and support MSc student research project supervision and the Faculty’s activities in Public Health. They will also ensure a high-quality student experience and successful student outcomes.

As a Senior Lecturer, they will engage in research and/or scholarly/professional activity to enhance and inform the teaching design, delivery and curriculum development.
