The Education subject area comprises of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in Education and an accelerated BA Primary Education course as well as the Initial Teacher Education PGCEs for both Secondary and Primary teacher training. There is to be a wider suite of MA Education pathways which are popular with international students.
ABOUT THE POST
This full-time Senior Lecturer post in the Education subject area seeks a qualified and experienced Higher Education (HE) professional who has relevant experience in lecturing in Education-related subjects at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels of study.
Applicants should also have experience of course leadership, module leadership, developing modules, courses and training programmes and developing teaching materials related to wider Education Studies subjects and Primary Education.
They will be required to teach and lead modules at both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels on Education UG and PG degree programmes and move into supporting course leadership once fully incorporated into the team. Experience in supporting and understanding the issues international students face in UK HE is also desirable.
