The Design School (LCC) seeks a Senior Lecturer in User Experience Design.

The Senior Lecturer will have a particular focus on supporting and leading students in exploring the non-linear human-centred design process where user needs and behaviours are at the forefront of design decisions throughout the research, ideation, prototype, testing, and implementation phases.

The role also involves contributing to curriculum development in the domain of embodied and situated design practice, while working with the community of practice in questioning assumptions in user experience design.

About you
You will have previous experience of teaching in Higher Education or comparable context, and in delivering a high-quality student experience, as well as some curriculum development. You engage students through a combination of innovative and compassionate pedagogy, knowledge exchange and/or research. You will have or should be willing to attain, with UAL’s support, a relevant teaching qualification or recognition.

An MA or equivalent relevant industry experience in fields associated with experience design or related disciplines is essential.
