Description of College/Department or aims of Department

The Senior International Alumni Officer plays a critical role in the operations of the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). We have a growing alumni community of over 160,000 graduates in over 175 countries, and the post-holder will have the responsibility for fostering quality relationships and raising engagement with our alumni and supporters, and supporting their journey beyond Brunel.

We are looking for a professional with strong interpersonal skills that has the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders. With work involving a wide-remit of activities including both events in the UK and overseas, volunteer management, communications and development, the role requires someone who can work independently, while also being a keen collaborator and prepared to work in a team to deliver meaningful projects. The Senior International Alumni Officer will have proven organisational skills and will lead on expanding engagement with Brunel’s alumni overseas, in line with the University’s overarching strategy. The post-holder will be an ambassador for the University, celebrating achievements within our alumni community and working strategically to raise the global profile of Brunel.

We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday, 2 August in person.
