
About you
We are looking for candidates with a coaching / mentoring qualification in addition to excellent organisational and administrative skills. Candidates must have an interest in working collaboratively in an international and diverse school with a fast-paced work environment, a strong team orientation, and an interdisciplinary focus.
Exciting work you will do
The post holder will be primarily supporting the School in relation to apprenticeship programmes, working with academics and industry partners, and will be the operational point of contact with the professional service groups of the University (i.e. Apprentice Office; etc.) in this context.
The postholder will liaise with employers to support the negotiation of the apprentice(s) learning needs in the workplace, and work with academics to provide coaching and support to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they will need to successfully complete their apprenticeship. Progress review meetings with each apprentice will be undertaken on a regular basis (in compliance with apprenticeship guidelines) for the duration of their programme. NB: Some visits are likely to be at the apprentice workplace (off site).

You will be able to demonstrate ability to build good working relationships with external stakeholders (such as apprentice employers, intern/placement providers), You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, be able to use initiative, plan, prioritise and organise a varied workload. You will communicate professionally and appropriately with academics as well as with students, and you will approach challenges/problems in a flexible, creative and proactive way. You will have knowledge and experience of skills support and future careers.

LSBU Business School is seeking to appoint a full-time permanent School Administrator: Apprenticeships to provide a high standard of support to LSBU Business School Apprenticeship degrees (online, onsite and offsite).
Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
