About the role: To serve the growing needs of Pearson’s clients around the world, the Event Testing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Event Testing Manager in the development, implementation and on-going management of unique test delivery solutions. You will report to the Event Testing Manager and will help establish and maintain testing venues throughout the world with a concentrated focus in Australia and New Zealand. The Event Testing Coordinator will assist in researching, identifying and negotiating with multiple vendors from various fields to ensure adequate test delivery venue coverage and associated invigilation services around the world.

It is the responsibility of the Event Testing Coordinator to ensure that client program requirements are planned for and are appropriately implemented in all associated testing venues. This role is also involved in ensuring that quality and security requirements are met, and that process improvements and increased efficiencies are identified. Other responsibilities of the role include invoice and data collection/coordination, working to set timelines, planning and negotiating priorities. The Event Testing Coordinator will liaise with other teams within Pearson organisations and external 3rd party suppliers. The Event Testing Coordinator will ensure company and client quality standards are adhered to, ensuring effective communication and reporting internally.

As an Event Testing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responsible for supporting and implementing global testing venues multiple times per year

  • Support the Event Testing Manager in ensuring that client satisfaction levels are achieved to a high standard and issues are recognised, documented, and resolved

  • Liaising with the wider team, and agencies where appropriate, to help deliver successful testing events in locations around the world

  • Work with the team to ensure adequate capacity is provided for test events and assist to develop contingency plans for each event

  • Supporting other initiatives as provided by the Event Testing Manager where appropriate

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience with coordinating a range of event types and/or projects

  • Enthusiastic, energetic team player who has the ability to work on their own, whilst possessing the ability to seek assistance and/or escalate concerns when required and ability to exceed customer expectations

  • Degree educated or equivalent

  • Excellent English, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office suite and Excel – intermediate to advanced skills

The role: Reporting to the VP Sales, APAC, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for expanding Pearson Workforce Skills’ prospective customer base. You’ll use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach to potential customers. The goal is to book calls & meetings and contribute to building the opportunity pipeline for the sales team.

Key responsibilities:

About the role: We are currently looking for a customer focused and relationship builder individual to join our team. As an Associate Channel Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing relationships and work effectively with others outside the organization. As part of our commitment to providing five-star support to third-party test centers around the world, we provide assistance and create engagement to enhance the test center experience. Our goal is to increase Pearson VUE performance and assist third-party testing centers to become the leading testing companies in their areas.

As an Associate Channel Operations Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Respond to and facilitate needs of test centers in all aspects of test delivery

  • Provide account maintenance to resolve any internal customer requests pertaining to the PVTC channel

  • Liaison between the business and the test center channel partner to help ensure compliance with Pearson VUE requirements.

  • Assist with PVTC on-boarding

  • Assist with event-based testing capacity and PVTC identification and preparation

The Test Centre Manager (TCM) is responsible for all aspects of testing operations in the assigned test centre by providing secured, high quality on-site service in accordance with strict operational policies and procedures of the examination processes. The appointed individual will perform the administration and invigilation of exams; this includes understanding, implementing and taking ownership of all aspects of the operational policies and procedures of all examination processes. The individual will also demonstrate a high level of customer service to candidates and be responsible for the continual enhancement of the brand image

Key Activities

  • Provide a high level of customer service in the test centres at all times

  • Trains local Test Administrators, if required

  • Serve as the contact point for building management, site security, deliveries, vendors, etc., and escalates to manager when appropriate

  • Ensure candidate needs are met with understanding and respect

  • Ensure test room is free of extraneous materials

  • Review test schedule and prepare for candidate(s), including those that may have special requirements

  • Sign candidates in (including verification of candidate identity) according to Pearson VUE and client sign-in procedures

  • As required, explain the test process to candidates and deal with other queries

  • Understand testing needs and procedures for each client

  • Ensure the integrity and security of the tests are maintained and that they are supervised to the required standard

  • Comply with all incident reporting and escalation procedures

  • Maintain own competencies in all the systems and procedures and request training as necessary

  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures as noted in the formal documentation; especially IT, HR and Security

  • Undertake all accreditations and skills checks as required by the business

  • Ensure all hours are recorded and authorised within Company guidelines

  • Comply with business needs on a day to day basis

  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

  • Perform daily test centre opening and closing procedures

  • Help to ensure a clean, professional, quiet testing atmosphere in the centre

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer facing role

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Must enjoy working with people, be comfortable in a quiet environment, have effective time management skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required

  • Must be Pearson VUE certified for a Testing Administrator and pass a re-certification annually to ensure that skills are kept current and problem areas identified

  • PC literate, comfort with the use of a full range of Microsoft Office and Windows applications
