
Mission:
The Paris-based Europe Research Center of the Harvard Business School seeks a Researcher to participate in research projects and company case studies in all disciplines of management throughout Europe. This position is based in Paris, France, with occasional project-related travel mainly in Europe.
Profile:
You hold a degree in management or economics from a business school/university and have prior professional experience, preferably international. You demonstrate a deep interest in conducting field research on business and management issues in various European countries and industries; and you are able to synthesize and think analytically.
You are fully fluent in English, with excellent English writing skills. Good knowledge of French language is required; a third European language is an advantage. Excellent computer skills are expected.
The position requires individuals to work both independently and as part of a small, highly integrated European research team. Researchers must demonstrate ability to work with professors in several disciplines and companies’ executives at senior level. Management of competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and follow through on projects is a must. Strong attention to detail, sensitivity to confidential information, initiative, flexibility, interpersonal skills, and professionalism are essential.
This full-time position cannot be reconciled with simultaneous PhD research or teaching assignments.
