
Job Description:
We are looking to hire 3 Research Officers at our state-of-the-art offices in Twickenham, Southwest London. This is an amazing opportunity to join us in the essential work we carry out in funding research to improve health in the UK.

This role will suit candidates from a range of process driven backgrounds such as; research or health-related administration, grant administration, procuring, tendering or project management.
The Job:
- Deliver the work involved in running research funding schemes
- Supporting the project management of individual funding competitions
- Act as a key contact point for enquiries about funding schemes
- Communicate with applicants, independent experts and funding committees
- Prepare competition information for publication on the NIHR website
- Manage large amounts of data associated with applications
- Producing funding committee meeting papers and related documents
- Maintain electronic records with accurate information
- Support annual award data collection exercises,
- Interact with Department of Health and Social Care staff and the research community

- Able to gather information systematically from multiple sources
- Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record keeping
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workloads
- Able to act on initiative, identify opportunities and be proactive
- A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new systems and processes
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for health care and health science
Qualification & Experience
Educated to a minimum of A-Level standard
Excellent computing skills, competent using Microsoft Office or Google packages
Role Details & Benefits
- Salary: £27,500 – £32,000, depending on experience
- Wide range of core benefits
- Hours: 0900 to 1730 Mon to Fri
- Location: Twickenham-TW1 / Hybrid Remote
