The Department concentrates on novel and policy-relevant research study and training to attain effect at nationwide and global levels. Our work, predominantly worrying low and middle-income countries, spans health policy and systems research, economic evaluation, gender violence and violence in youth, and medical humanitarianism.

The post holder will deal with the team of health economic experts in the Evaluation of Social and Population Health Interventions (ESPHI) research study group, part of the Department of Global Health and Development at the London School of Hygiene & & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), as a Research Fellow.

This post will work to support ESPHI provide on the Exemplars in Primary Health Care job. The post holder will be responsible for dealing with associates based in London, Nairobi and in the research study nations to support economic and health system information collection, analysis and dissemination on the task.

The post-holder will have a Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics or an equivalent quantitative discipline. Further details are consisted of in the job description.

The post is full-time 35 hours weekly, 1.0 FTE and fixed-term till 30 April 2023. The post is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The salary will be on the Academic Pathway wage scale Grade 6 in the variety ₤ 40,611 – ₤ 46,119 per year (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will go through the LSHTM terms of service. Yearly leave privilege is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Subscription of the Pension Scheme is offered. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & & Tropical Medicine.
