
Starting Salary is £32,621 per annum (including London Allowance)*
*This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Ethics Officer in the Research & Innovation Directorate’s Policy & Integrity Team
This in a new post within Research and Innovation which will play a key role in supporting the implementation of best practice administrative processes related to research integrity, governance and ethics.
You will act as the first point of contact for queries on ethics applications and support our academics and students through the ethics review process and will also support the implementation of our new ethics system.
This is a role that will give you the opportunity to support a positive research culture at a leading, research-intensive university, and will suit individuals with experience of working in busy teams in a changing environment and that enjoy supporting colleagues and finding solutions. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to prioritise conflicting demands and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards. You will be committed to supporting good decision-making and good research practice and keen to make an impact on Royal Holloway’s research environment.
