The London School of Hygiene & & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is producing a variety of new functions as part of a substantial investment in research study operations services which underpins our world leading research study programs. This function provides important assistance and knowledge to our research teams with a variety of legal contracts associated with their tasks in pursuit of LSHTM’s mission to enhance health worldwide.
Research Study Contracts Managers are accountable for examining, drafting and negotiating research study and consultancy agreements on behalf of faculty staff within predetermined service levels set down by the Head of Legal Services. The postholder is responsible for guaranteeing that (i) LSHTM can adhere to funder terms and conditions, (ii) proper due diligence treatments are followed when subcontracting collaborating institutions or service providers and (iii) the intellectual property, monetary security and other interests of LSHTM are adequately safeguarded.
Applicants need to have experience of working in a legal and agreements function in a research intensive college institution. Knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape of medical research is extremely preferable.

The wage will be on the Professional Services income scale Grade 6 in the variety ₤ 40,611 – ₤ 46,119 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting).
