Salary from £40,299 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 inclusive of London allowance

The postholder will be a key member of the Division’s research contracts function based within the Division’s Innovation Team. The successful applicant should have experience in negotiating and executing multi-party agreements with diverse third parties, including funding grant agreements, collaboration agreements, consortium agreements, research consultancy agreements, MOUs, data transfer agreements etc. Successful applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills, proven track record of responding to requests for contracts guidance and support for members of the Research Development and Research Awards Teams, leading or supporting research contract negotiations and drafting, advising on risk mitigation strategies, updating precedents, research related compliance and responding to specific contract issues.

Most staff balance working from the campus or remotely. For this particular role, the duties are such that we can offer flexible working patterns.
