The role of the research associate is to contribute to the successful delivery of a NIHR-funded HS&DR research Project: Implementation of the non-medical practitioner workforce into the urgent and emergency care system skill-mix in England: a mixed methods study of configurations and impact. This mixed methods study started in March 2021, and is led by an experienced, interdisciplinary research team from other Universities and NHS organisations.

The Person

The postholder will be responsible, as part of a team, for the collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative study data, with a focus on qualitative data. You will be supported by the research team and will contribute to presentation of results and findings. Responsibilities will include contributing to reviewing and synthesizing the literature, data collection and analyses and contributing to academic research articles and conference presentations. You will be supporting the joint chief investigators, research project manager and two other researchers.

This role is based at our St George’s University of London site in Tooting.

This is a part time (18.50 hours per week), fixed term role until 31 August 2023 with a starting salary of £29,581 per annum plus a St George’s supplement of £718 per annum (pro rata).
