Job Summary

You will be part of a diverse research group working on the MRC-funded UNICORN (Unified Cohorts Research Network) project, which aims at better understanding Asthma disease endotypes and their underlying disease mechanisms using a unique and challenging data-driven approach. You will also be part of a large consortium of academic and pharmaceutical experts working on the IMI-funded FAIRplus project to innovate and develop new processes, models and tools in FAIR data management in the biomedical domain.

The platform will host a large number of integrated and harmonized asthma-related datasets from population-based birth cohorts, patient cohorts and randomised controlled studies. The platform builds on previously published work that has gained the Data Science Institute at Imperial College its distinguished status in life sciences research data management. The UNICORN platform is envisioned as an end-user platform to enable researchers to discover and navigate the huge data space offered by these integrated datasets intuitively and precisely.

You will work together with research team at the Data Science Institute, the FAIRplus consortium and other UNICORN project partners to deliver the project deliverables.
