Fixed Term: This appointment is available from 1st September 2022 until 31st November 2023 in the first instance.

The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) is a department within UCL and part of The Bartlett faculty, known internationally for its radical thinking about space, design and sustainability. Under the direction of the Head of the Mission-Oriented Innovation Network (MOIN) and an academic lead, the Policy and Research Analyst will monitor relevant policy domains, draft briefing notes, and generate data-based insights through identifying, analysing and curating information. In particular, the analyst will be tasked with creating a generic Policy Toolkit to be used by stakeholders when embarking on a mission-oriented innovation approach; alongside writing up case stories, creating data visualisations, supporting workshops and curating content for a digital learning platform.

This appointment is available from 1st September 2022 until 31st November 2023 in the first instance.

The candidate must have 3-5 years demonstrable work experience of working with a government department, a think-tank, research institute, consultancy, trade association, not-for-profit organisation, innovation agency and/or international organisation. Demonstrable interest in policy areas of relevance to IIPP and MOIN is highly desirable. The candidate must have strong analytical and exceptional project management skills to ensure that deadlines are met with high quality outputs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively internally and externally.
