Full time, Fixed Term: Funding is available for 2 years in the first instance.

The Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology lies within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences (FPHS).The Faculty brings together expertise in Child Health, Women’s and Reproductive Health, Population Health, Global Health, Cardiovascular Science, Clinical Trials and Health Informatics, in a unique grouping that spans the life-course.

The Institute comprises of two registered clinical trials units: The Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit, which is a UCL facing unit unit set up with a specific remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed studies led by UCL investigators. The MRC Clinical Trials Unit, which conducts national and international clinical trials, meta-analyses and epidemiological studies in cancer, infectious diseases (particularly HIV and TB) and other health care areas and develops new and improved methods for the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials.

An enthusiastic, committed, and professional individual is sought for the role to work across both trials units providing providing pharmaceutical and regulatory expertise and guidance to ensure that Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products are setup and conducted to meet regulatory and ethical.

Funding is available for 2 years in the first instance.

As the successful candidate you will have pharmaceutical knowledge and a proven track record of working in clinical trials, with an excellent knowledge of current GMP requirements governing clinical trials. You will have good communication skills, an ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, organisational skills and analytical skills with the ability to problem solve. Experience of ATIMP and other Early phase trials is essential for the role.
