The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care (NMPC), King’s College London, to lead on the management and implementation of a range of projects focussed on improving student success and experience.

The Faculty has recently completed an external review into the factors affecting the experience and satisfaction of our pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, with a focus on undergraduate students. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects that will meet the specific recommendations outlined in the Expert Panel Review. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead on the management, implementation and delivery of these projects and related activities. As a member of the Faculty Professional Services Team, you will be a valued and trusted contributor, working collaboratively with your peers to support the Faculty Senior Leadership.

We are seeking an experienced project manager that has demonstrable experience of managing complex projects involving change management, defining methodologies and standards for project management, change management and process improvement. The successive postholder will have a strong commitment to excellence in working with a diverse student population, excellent communication skills, will be a good listener who works well with people from different disciplines, and someone with a passion for bringing people together to create positive change. Working at a fast pace, you will have the ability to work independently with effective oversight and prioritisation and have excellent attention to detail. This role suits a self-starter who can take ownership of project delivery and has the ability to see the “bigger picture” and how the various projects will interconnect and influence each other to achieve the Faculty’s aim of supporting every student’s success.

This post will be offered on an a fixed-term contract for 3 years
