Brief summary

The position of Project Manager has been produced to take ownership of particular projects, both minor and significant as directed by the Head of Engineering Projects, provide the user interface in between the customer group (e.g. BRF) and the Crick Facilities and Infrastructure team in order to provide projects that satisfies the requirements of the science, optimise the maintenance method for maximum dependability and ensure compliance with regulative requirements. The task holder will also be expected to identify and manage operational enhancement tasks and involved jobs in assistance of the Crick’s tactical top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the tasks designated

  • Monitoring, managing and tracking the task’s progress through regular weekly reporting, KPI’s and sustainability targets
  • Effective handover for projects to the functional teams, ensuring all documents is offered and training identified is delivered
  • Examining successes and difficulties to enhance finding out for your next task

As a project supervisor, you’ll need to:

  • Set goals in line with your organisation or client needs, which might consist of scope, content, timings and budget
  • Strategy work and set due dates to fulfill the agreed requires
  • Select, lead and inspire your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
