The Department of Learning and Leadership (DLL) is a large specialist research and teaching department of approximately 110 academic staff. The department is a major world leader in the following subject areas: Early Years and Primary Education, Educational Leadership, Education Policy, and Initial Teacher Education (ITE). About the role
You will lead all operational aspects of the National Professional Qualifications working collaboratively with programme leaders and administrative staff to ensure the success of the full programme suite (Currently, 9 programmes).
You will have responsibility for overseeing programme management systems and processes across the full programme suite to support its successful delivery. This will include team leadership of the CEL Professional Services team, managing delivery partner admin relationships and the strategic development of the programme.
You will coordinate and help to quality assure the work of our external associates, delivering on agreed projects and events, maintaining excellent relationships with Teaching School Hubs, other Delivery Partners, schools and other clients and working across the IOE to draw together and co-ordinate diverse teams.
You should be pro-active in your work and demonstrate excellent team leadership and project management skills.

About you
You will have experience of running large scale and/or complex projects or programmes with an awareness of the issues involved along with a proven ability to develop computer-based systems, which facilitate work and ensure such systems are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
You will also have experience of successfully leading a team, line managing colleagues ensuring that they achieve both team and personal goals.
Experience in learning technology, in particular Moodle based platforms, their functionality and use of analytics is desirable.
