The Centre for Educational Leadership is an established and distinctive centre within the IOE’s Department of Learning and Leadership with around 50 staff. CEL aims to be the first port of call for educational leadership and innovation in the UK and, increasingly, the world.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality administrative service for the Early Career Teacher Programme participants, facilitators and partners working in close collaboration with Programme Managers, Programme Leaders and administrative staff.
You will have responsibility for leading administrative systems and processes across the programme to support its successful delivery. This will include line management of the programme administrative team, providing support and challenge, monitoring performance and progress.
You should be pro-active in your work and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
The post is funded for three years in the first instance.
The successful candidate will have experience of running large scale and/or complex projects or programmes with an awareness of the issues involved, experience of leading a team and line managing colleagues, with well-developed interpersonal skills.
