Background
My Home Life England (www.myhomelife.org.uk) is a high profile programme within the University that acts as leading authority and enabler of positive change in care homes and other care settings across England, through delivering high-quality local and national training, consultancy, research and social action. We are a small team that makes a big difference.
Responsibilities
The Programme Administrator will support the successful delivery of local training and consultancy projects that take place across England alongside other research and development projects that the team is engaged with. Key responsibilities include providing logistical and budgetary support alongside more routine support to the team, liaising with purchasing, contracts and financial teams within the University and with our external customers.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience in delivering an administration role within an office environment, preferably within higher education, which includes working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. They will have good numeracy and IT skills; and excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will have an inquiring mind to enable them identify, interpret and analyse potential problems and show strong professional customer care practices.
