Position
The full professorship is provided with a view to drawing in talented candidates with a comprehensive and documented performance history in ingenious and internationally recognized research in the location of Humanities Computing and/or digital humanities.The effective candidate will be anticipated to add to core activities at the School of Culture and Society and Aarhus University in basic, and to direct the Centre for Humanities Computing and enhance its research activities and output in particular.Apart from research, the successful applicant needs to likewise be able to contribute to the following locations: education, talent advancement, and knowledge exchange within Humanities Computing at Aarhus University. The professor will be expected to undertake duty for and leadership of the academic development of Humanities Computing at Aarhus University, and to raise the worldwide profile of Aarhus University’s digital liberal arts research study and academic environments.The university desires its staff to reflect the diversity of society, and hence invites applications from all certified prospects despite their individual background. Education The successful candidate will be required to teach and monitor Humanities Computing at all levels of the school’s degree programs [BACHELOR’S DEGREE, MA and PhD] and will be anticipated to have extensive mentor experience at university
level. In addition, s/he will be
