About the Role Item Owner is business-critical function liable for forming, developing, progressing and management of a suite of services and products. The Product Owner will assist the item function shipment prioritisation in an agile style with a cross-functional, cross IT and business disciplinary group.

You will be accountable for equating service requirements into epics and user stories and prioritizing the product stockpile to focus on the delivery of company value while keeping the business and technical stability of the feature.

About You
You will be working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) item team.

In collaboration with business users and the Product group, you will be responsible to refine the backlog products and you will establish and prioritise the item backlog. You will be responsible for the development and translation of top-level item roadmaps into possible item stockpile items by providing insight for the general Vision and Roadmap based on knowledge of IAM, ensuring collaboration with specialists for compliance with relevant security and personal privacy legislation.

IT Services is a key enabler to the effective fulfilment of Queen Mary’s strategic goals of excellence in research, and teaching and learning. The post is based at our freshly established Department W, in Whitechapel, London. It is a Permanent consultation, with an immediate start date. The beginning income will be Grade 6, in the range of ₤ 48,035 – 53,625 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. In addition there will be a market supplement of ₤ 13,000 per year (examined after 3 years) depending on certifications and experience.

Candidates need to have the ability to show their eligibility to operate in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this might include entry clearance or continued leave to stay under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
