Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in International Taxation to join the Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.
This is a unique opportunity for Postdoctoral Research Fellow to play a key role within a team of academics and students investigating international tax in the digital age. You will be an active researcher with an exciting and developing profile in global tax issues that strives to create impact and change and contributes to cutting edge knowledge

The faculty operates at the university’s Gardens Point campus. Located in the heart of the CBD, the Gardens Point campus provides the faculty with a distinct competitive advantage to provide transformative education, research and connections with industry. The Graduate School of Business also delivers the Executive MBA and MBA program at a Canberra site.
What you need to succeed
You will demonstrate:
- Completion of a doctoral qualification (or under examination/near submission for external examination) in the broad field of taxation
- Expertise in qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods studies.
- Track record of publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with researchers from a multidisciplinary background.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with end-users and other stakeholders in the field of taxation. For example, federal governments, nongovernmental organisations, industry bodies and the profession.
- Research leadership skills, including support of research assistants and postgraduate student supervision.

Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis for (4) four years
Remuneration: Level B (LEVB) which has an annual remuneration range of $AUD119,829 to $AUD142,312 pa. Which is inclusive of an annual salary range of $AUD101,257 to $AUD120,255 pa, 17% superannuation and leave loading.
