The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Placemaking and Community Engagement Partnerships Manager to join the Business and Innovation team at London College of Communication as we move towards the final development phase of our new building within the wider regeneration of Elephant and Castle.

The purpose of the role is to build on existing relationships and develop new partnerships within Southwark and South London, securing funding to strategically deliver partnership opportunities with third sector organisations, businesses, local authorities and HEI partners in the local area. You will work collaboratively with academics and colleagues across the college and university to broker new projects with external partners which deliver economic, social and cultural value.

The Business and Innovation team at LCC apply the imagination, creativity and resourcefulness of our students, graduates and academics to the challenges faced by today’s society, businesses and organisations.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Placemaking and Community Partnerships Manager experienced in delivering multi stakeholder projects. The post-holder will require a matrix of skills and the ability to think innovatively and pro-actively about developing and delivering partnerships, including tracking budgets, targets and timelines. Working collaboratively across both external and internal stakeholders, the role requires an excellent and clear communicator.
