ABOUT US

Transforming lives through excellent education

London Met is an extraordinary institution. Equity and social inclusion have always been our driving principles, and it’s what makes the University so unique. Our organisation is distinctive, both in its eclectic and diverse community of students and staff, and also for its historical role in serving some of London’s most deprived boroughs. Everything we do is underpinned by our philosophy that an individual should have the opportunity to transform their life through the power of education.

The School of Human Sciences brings together the University’s science-based provision and offers a diverse range of courses across a range of essential scientific disciplines that underpin this provision. Our courses are closely allied to subjects related Applied Biology, Biomedical Science, Blood Science, Molecular and Pharmaceutical Science, Analytical, Synthetic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, Herbal Chemical Sciences and Pharmacology, Nutrition, Dietetics, Sports Sciences and the newly offered degree in Physiotherapy. The Science Centre is the School’s hub for the provision of cutting-edge research and undergraduate practical teaching in these disciplines.
