Our focus lies in developing innovative digital solutions that drive this transition, and we achieve this through the application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. We are now offering PhD positions within the following trending areas:
- Agent-based simulation or digital twins of energy systems, industrial processes, and industrial symbiosis
- Deep learning and reinforcement learning for improving the energy performance of logistics and transportation
- Multi-objective evaluation or optimization of energy ecosystem solutions
- Transformative AI solutions for predictive maintenance in smart energy networks, covering electrical grids and heating Infrastructure.
- Machine learning-based predictive asset management for energy systems and infrastructure.

Conditions of employment
Applicants are required to have a master’s degree (equivalent to a Danish master’s degree) at the time of enrollment and employment. Employment as a PhD fellow is a 3-year salaried position (start salary amounts to approx. 3,378,- EURO per month incl. supplements).
Employment of a PhD fellow can only happen after the PhD School has approved the candidate for admission to the PhD school. Employment and enrollment will cease without further notice at the end of the period.
