A chance to join the UCL Division of Biosciences Postgraduate team in supporting a substantial and diverse research community is now readily available. The post uses a chance to add to the Divisions aspirations to grow our research population whilst provide a terrific student experience to our existing trainees.
The successful appointee will work closely and effectively with Senior PhD Administrators and the Postgraduate Team Manager and will be responsible for essential student lifecycle activities. The function includes the monitoring and management of student records, processes and milestones related to PGR study along with guaranteeing compliance with our institutional Codes of Practice and Regulations and supporting UKRI-funded doctoral programs admissions, teaching and rotations.
The role will involve communicating with postgraduate research study (PGR) students, managers, and senior scholastic coworkers to ensure a positive trainee experience throughout the trainee journey. The post holder will require be adaptable, quick to assimilate details and have an eager eye for detail.
The effective candidate will be educated to A level or comparable standard and have administrative experience, preferably in a Higher Education or Research environment. A commitment to offering a responsive and handy service and making finest practice an outright top priority is necessary. The post holder will have strong communication and social skills and be able to show ownership of a personal workload.
