The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London is inviting applications for the position of Operations Director (QMUL Malta Ltd Campus). This post is a part of the faculty Leadership team providing strategic and operational direction for a successful and thriving campus. The role holder will have a particular focus on ensuring the administrative and technical infrastructure and services within are effective and respond appropriately to strategic and operational challenges to continue the high level of support for research, teaching, and administrative activities within the Malta Campus. They will also take a leading role in supporting and enabling the Faculty to meet their strategic aims.

You will have experience of managing a large team, financial management and budgetary control, workforce planning and a well-developed knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education environment. You will have a strong commitment to professional development for yourself and your team. You will be able to think quickly and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment, possess the capability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies as they arise, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. You will be adaptable to changing circumstances and open to new approaches and ideas. The salary for the appointment as Operations Director is circa €59,014.80-€67,014.80 per annum. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave. Relocation assistance is also available.
