Marketing Manager (Online Programmes)
The salary range is £37,197 to £44,802, pa inclusive with the potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance based on performance
LSE’s portfolio of online programmes makes our world-leading teaching and research accessible to a global audience of lifelong learners at a moment when the value and demand for online education has never been greater. The portfolio includes:
- Online Certificate Courses: a growing suite of over 30 courses which enable professionals to upskill in new skills or subjects. Launched in 2017, to date over 26,000 participants have completed course.
- Online Degree Programmes: 9 undergraduate degrees offered in partnership with the University of London, which make a world-class degree accessible to students and working professionals.
- Online Masterclasses: a portfolio of short courses launched in 2021 which offer participants new knowledge in a bite-sized format and the opportunity to participate in the academic debate for which LSE is renowned.
- Online Career Accelerator: a new 6-month long data analytics programme focussed on employment and engagement with industry.
The Marketing Manager (Online Programmes) will join a dynamic team committed to the growth of online programmes at LSE. The postholder will be able to demonstrate a track record of leading impactful digital marketing and content-led campaigns that drive conversions and revenue growth, with experience of implementing campaigns with an international reach. The role requires a knowledge of current and upcoming digital and social media marketing trends.
This role involves:
- Leading impactful digital marketing and content-led campaigns that drive conversions and engage our diverse and global audiences.
- Growing the reach and awareness of the LSE Online brand and differentiating our programmes, which compete with other leading universities and business schools.
- Developing an engaging communications plan and identify cross-selling opportunities to grow repeat participant rates.
- Managing the relationship with the marketing teams at LSE’s external online partners (2U and FourthRev).
- Using insights from marketing data to devise and refine our marketing, communication and recruitment strategies.
