Salary Range £38,650 – £43,050 per annum including Inner London Weighting depending on experience/performance

The School has a wide-ranging annual programme of hundreds of public performances, encompassing concerts, recitals, plays, operas and other live events which take place across state-of-the-art performance venues.

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager (Events) to develop, implement and evaluate innovative and creative marketing campaigns to promote the School’s extensive performance and live events programme. The role will manage the production of marketing materials to promote the programme as well as managing ticketing arrangements for all Guildhall School events via the Barbican Box Office. The post will also lead on day-to-day liaison with the School’s media relations agency for the performance programme.

The post holder should have a detailed and wide-ranging knowledge of classical music, and an informed understanding of London’s cultural audiences, with the ability to plan and implement creative and effective marketing campaigns. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail are essential, with experience of producing high quality marketing materials and a good understanding of the UK arts media landscape. The post holder should also have strong negotiation and listening skills with the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

This role is eligible for hybrid working. Please note that a basic DBS check will be required.
