About the Role The School of Business and Management(SBM)looks for to recruit several impressive researchers and instructors to a Lectureship or Senior Lectureship in Marketing (Teaching & & Research). This post provides an opportunity to make a major contribution to the development of market research and teaching in a rapidly growing and unique service and management school.

About You

The Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the School and broader organization and research study field of digital marketing, Bid Data, AI and company analytics, digital economy and associated fields including research study methods which support marketing analytics and data driven research, along with. using digital tools and techniques (marketing and web analytics, information visualisation and Machine knowing. Experience of using open-source analytical plans such as R or Python for information processing and analytics are preferable. They will make contributions to student education and experience through curriculum advancement and the shipment of teaching activities in the discipline of digital marketing and related fields

You should be able to show the capability to research study and publish at a worldwide outstanding level. Applicants for the Lectureship must have a finished doctorate or will have submitted their thesis and be awaiting evaluation. For the Senior Lectureship, you will currently be an established scholastic have a strong publication record with shown potential to publish at the world-leading level.

You will be expected to contribute to the marketing mentor on our MSc and undergraduate programs. Our cognate locations of interests consist of marketing, consumer behaviour and marketing psychology, sociology of intake and consumer culture, marketing principles and sustainability digital/e-marketing, brand-new media, and interactions. You will be expected to show how their research study interests match those within the School and how they can add to the development of marketing programmes within the department of marketing.

About the School of Business and Management, and the Department of Marketing

The School of Business and Management is among the eight schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The School has been undergoing a duration of rapid growth, doubling our variety of scholastic personnel over the last 5 years. We currently have 90 academic personnel. We have over 1,600 undergraduate organization studies trainees plus approximately 800 students taking service in combination with other degree subjects within QMUL. At the post-graduate level, we have roughly 800 MSc students and a well-established doctoral program of around 80 doctoral students.

SBM’s core function is to promote social justice, sustainability, and great governance in the management of personal, public, and voluntary organisations through our research and education. We are an unique School that takes a humanities and social science-led method to our scholarship, consisting of interdisciplinarity and are now the biggest school within QMUL’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with its standard strengths as a website of critical thinking in the humanities, law, history, location, and politics.

The Department of Marketing at the School of Business and Management is research-led, and our academics release in journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of International Marketing, and interdisciplinary social science journals. We concentrate on excellence in teaching and have our own BSc in Marketing and Management (around 75 students annual), in addition to an MSc in Marketing (around 200 students annual).

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time, irreversible visit, with a start date as quickly as feasible for the successful prospect. The beginning wage will be Grade 5/6, in the range of ₤ 43,069 – ₤ 53,625 per year for those designated as Lecturer, or in Grade 7, in the variety of ₤ 56,678 – ₤ 63,351 per annum for those designated as Senior Lecturer, in both cases inclusive of London Allowance.
