Ranked the #1 university in Australia, and within the top 30 universities globally (2021 QS World University Rankings), the Australian National University is an international leader in research and education relevant to the health and well-being of Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health and community settings, research led teaching, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of psychology, biology, and medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the stakeholders at local, national and international levels. The Research School of Psychology (RSP) is known for its excellence in research, strong teaching and research programs, including its award-winning Clinical Psychology training program and its newly developed Master of Professional Psychology program. It is regarded as one of the very best psychology programs worldwide, ranking 38th in the 2021 QS World University (program) Rankings. The RSP is moving into a partnership with the ANU Medical School to form the School of Medicine and Psychology. The new positions offer opportunities to join a rigorous scientific community that is shaping the future of both psychology and medicine.
