
The Sixth Form at Uxbridge College is responsible primarily for the delivery of A Level, AS, GCSE and BTEC Science courses and is based at the Uxbridge site. We have a track record of achieving strong results which places the Sixth Form in the top 5% of colleges nationally for A level progress. We are looking for a dedicated and capable individual to continue our success. You would teach on a range of courses including A level, BTEC and GCSE Physics, with the possibility of teaching GCSE Mathematics.
You will possess a degree in Physics or closely related subject, and have teaching experience in the subject area up to Level 3, including A Level. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. You will either possess or be willing to achieve an advanced level teaching qualification, which will be supported financially in full by the College over the two year period of the course.
