It is a big and vibrant School with around 4,200 trainees and over 300 personnel in 7 Departments: The School will be starting an exciting period of modification for the brand-new scholastic year, creating the School of Communication and Creativity, including Journalism, Performing Arts, Media, Culture and Creative Industries together with a new School of Policy and Global Affairs consisting of Economics, International Politics and Sociology & Criminology. The Department of International Politics is a leading centre for research and undergraduate and postgraduate
education. It has strength in four core areas of research study in global relations: International Political Economy, Foreign Policy & Diplomacy, International History and Comparative Politics. The Department hosts the City Political Economy Research Centre( CITYPERC ), the Centre for International Policy Studies( CIPS) and the new Centre for Modern History. Responsibilities The Department is looking for to designate an impressive scholastic as Lecturer in International Politics. We are open to applications from alllocations of the discipline. The successful candidate will have a PhD in International Relations or cognate field. You will have developed a record of 4 * world-leading or 3 * worldwide outstanding research study and add to the delivery of the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate education. Person Specification The Lecturer will provide amazing and tough education in International Relations, will contribute to advancement of new programmes and collaborations throughout the School and University. You
will support, supervise and coach students, fostering a positive learning environment. Undertake administrative tasks at Programme, Departmental, School and University level and will maintain exceptional and collegial communications with staff and trainees.
