The opportunity
University of the Arts London is looking for a Lecturer in Fashion Management: Finance and Economics to join our teaching team at the London College of Fashion on a part time basis.

You will assume responsibility for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on BSc Fashion Management, MSc Strategic Fashion Management and MBA Fashion Management. You will undertake responsibility for an undergraduate year group, assisting with pastoral support, student progress and attendance, as well as maintaining records and liaising with colleagues as appropriate.

You will facilitate pedagogic and curriculum development that stimulates thought and practice in the application of finance and economics in fashion, extending the level of subject expertise on the course to keep the curriculum at the cutting edge of professional practice.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will be educated to a higher degree level (e.g. MSc, MBA) in a relevant subject and will ideally hold a teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent).

You will also provide experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment and can apply an inquiring, innovative and reflexive approach to your teaching. Evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that contributes to the application of e-commerce in fashion, is essential.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team and across professional groups is required, along with excellent planning and organisational skills.
