The Department of Arts and Humanities at Brunel University is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting academic activities within the Arts and Health subject area. Brunel is dedicated to fostering excellence in both education and research, and we are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to advancing the field of Art Psychotherapy.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy, you will contribute significantly to the enrichment of our Arts and Health curriculum. Your role will centre on delivering research-oriented teaching, with a particular emphasis on arts and health. You will engage students in dynamic learning experiences, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field.
Qualifications and Experience
- Familiarity with teaching and learning methodologies.
- Experience as an art psychotherapy practitioner, especially in healthcare and community contexts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry policies, procedures, and ethical practices.
- Proficiency in both quantitative data analysis and qualitative investigative methods.
