The School of Built Environment at Massey University is the premier provider of built environment higher education in New Zealand and beyond. Whilst fully embracing its strengths in learning and teaching, the School has also been making its mark in built environment research. Recently, the School has been awarded a major 5-year research grant from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment in New Zealand totalling $9.9M to improve the construction industry in New Zealand.

The School is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to take up the role of Lecturer in Building and Facilities Management to strengthen its dynamic and rapidly growing team.

Are you the high calibre of candidate we are looking for?

In this appointment, you will be expected to contribute to learning and teaching supervision, research and enterprise, and academic citizenship activities in the School. You will have a strong background in construction, building and facilities management as well as in the implementation of IT/advanced technologies in the digital built environment space. In addition to a good publication track record and experience applying for competitive grant proposals, experience in curriculum development and delivery is also essential.
