This is an exciting opportunity for a lecturer to take responsibility for teaching design content and curriculum development on the BA (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Bags and Accessories at London College of Fashion. 

This will include both hand drawing and CAD methodologies, teaching pattern cutting for accessories and supporting 3D development between the stages of 2D specification through to final 3D prototyping and final realisation. 

Your role will also include the maintenance and enhancement of standards and responsibility for the unit design, development, and delivery of Year 1 curriculum and the day-to-day management of the year group including all areas of learning, teaching, and assessment of students.

Your profile 

You will be a recognised practitioner within the field of fashion bags and accessories with both, or either, industry level experience or established experience within education practice. A knowledge and experience of 2D design methodologies and practical 3D prototyping and manufacturing processes of fashion bags and accessories is essential along with an understanding of the practical approach and methodologies needed for both hand crafted and digital manufacturing.
