The LSE Eden Centre brings together educational, technological and developmental expertise to support the development of academic staff and enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation across the School. Eden Centre staff work with academic and professional services colleagues across the School and in partnership with students to enhance research-rich education in line with the priorities of the School’s LSE 2030 Strategy and its ‘Educate for Global Impact’ strand.

We are looking to recruit a Learning Technologist to join the Eden Centre’s Digital Education team on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. It is an exciting time to join the team as we embark upon the multi-million pound ‘Digital Education Futures’ programme – a suite of initiatives to embed effective digital practice across the LSE and transform the staff and student digital experience.

The Learning Technologist will provide expert advice and guidance to academic and professional staff in the use of digital learning technologies, and will work collaboratively on projects to help deliver the priorities of Digital Education Futures. They will serve as the team’s Technical Lead for at least one digital learning technology.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in supporting teaching, learning and assessment with technology through pedagogical advice, technical support, and workshop design and delivery, preferably within a higher education environment. They will have experience working with at least one learning technology such as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), an undergraduate qualification or equivalent, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: From £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance.
